Course Description
The purpose of this course is to equip professionals in New York State with the skills to identify and report potential cases of suspected child abuse or maltreatment whenever they have justifiable grounds to believe such incidents occur within their professional responsibilities.

Intended Audience
Professionals acknowledged by the State of New York and the New York State Child Protective System as having the crucial duty of being mandated reporters for child abuse or maltreatment are professionals from various licensed or certified occupations regulated by NYSED, the NY State Office of the Professions, and the Office of Teaching Initiatives.
